Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control

Administration, Scoring and Psychometric Properties

Do you work with infants and children with poor trunk control? Many tests of posture control consider the trunk as a single segment. The Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo) provides you with a more precise tool to measure postural control and support function for children with disabilities. In this course, Sandy will teach you how to administer, score and interpret the SATCo using multiple videos and case studies. You will learn to correct the most common tester errors and client compensations to improve your testing accuracy. By using the SATCo, you can pinpoint the support your client needs to function and participate in the classroom, at home and in the community. You will also have another tool to measure outcomes of your interventions. Closed Captioned in English
