In Part 1 (13 CE hours), Certified CO-OP Instructors Patti and Erin will teach you CO-OP’s structured intervention format that includes collaborative goal setting, dynamic performance analysis, cognitive strategy use, guided discovery, and enabling principles. Case discussions will enrich your ability to apply CO-OP to various diagnoses and gauge your achievement of learning objectives. Dedicated practice times throughout the 2 days will allow you to leave Part 1 with the skills needed to use the CO-OP Approach the day you return to work. Between Parts 1 and 2, you will implement CO-OP in your practice, noting areas of success, areas of self-improvement and case scenarios for sharing.

In Part 2 (3 CE hours), you will attend a 3-hour live online session to build on the knowledge and skills you have gained from Part 1, and from your experience of applying CO-OP with your clients. The instructor will guide you through analysis of your competence in implementing CO-OP, case discussions, reinforcement of CO-OP’s 7 Key Features, and creation of a plan to promote your competence and fidelity in applying CO-OP.
