Apply EBP is an approved provider of continuing education for OTs and OTAs by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). See the list below of course approval by state. The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) accepts our courses as an AOTA approved provider – please click here for info on calculating NBCOT PDUs.

*The Wisconsin Board of OT does not require preapproval of courses. The WI Board of OT also accepts self-study courses approved by AOTA. Is Apply EBP an AOTA Approved Provider of CEUs?
Yes. Apply EBP is an AOTA Approved Provider of continuing education for OTs and OTAs. Courses that are eligible for AOTA-approved CEUs will include the AOTA Approved Provider information on the individual course page; please review each page before registering to confirm approval details, number of hours, and any completion requirements.
Do Apply EBP courses count toward NBCOT professional development units (PDUs)?
The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) accepts continuing education from AOTA Approved Providers for PDU calculation. Apply EBP is an AOTA Approved Provider. Please review NBCOT’s current requirements to determine how to calculate and report your PDUs.
How do I know whether a course is right for me?
Review the individual course page for the topic, speaker, intended audience, instructional level, number of hours, format, and CE information. If you are unsure whether a course fits your needs or whether it is eligible for OT CEUs, email carlo@applyebp.com.
Do I receive a certificate after completing a course?
Yes. Participants who successfully complete the course requirements receive a certificate of completion or attendance, which includes the AOTA imprimatur indicating the course approval ID. Requirements may include attending or viewing the course, completing attendance checks or assessments, and submitting a course evaluation.

If you are unsure whether a specific Apply EBP school-based OT CEU course is offered for OT CEUs or if you would like a specific school-based OT course approved for AOTA CEUs, email carlo@applyebp.com before registering.
