Wouldn’t it be great if we know how hand use develop in children with unilateral CP?

This article by Eliasson et al (2022) is the first study that looks at the development of hand use from 18 month to 18 years for children with unilateral CP. This article even includes a chart, similar to the growth motor curves by Hanna, et al (2008). Similar to Hanna, et al’s curves, scores on the Assisting Hand Assessment (AHA) flatten in early childhood. It also shows that bimanual performance was stable from 7-18 years old.
