The prevalence of autism and ADHD in children with CP is higher than I thought. For sure, such comorbidities will impact the effectiveness of our interventions.  So, in this #3PracticalTakeaways we present lessons from the work of Pahlman et al (2020) on 264 children with Cerebral Palsy.

 

How do we apply this in our practice? Be aware. Encourage screening when appropriate. And judiciously apply and adjust targeted interventions, taking their comorbidities into consideration. Let’s apply the research into interventions for children with Autism and ADHD that work!
