COURSE DESCRIPTION

This dynamic course walks through a day in the life of a school-based OT, working with a variety of students who possess different needs. We get it! Your days are exciting, chock-full, and sometimes chaotic. Even in your busiest days, therapists ask themselves: What might I change just a little to be more effective, more efficient, more evidence-based?

This is the essential course for every school-based OT – whether you’re new to the practice, or you’re an experienced therapist seeking more ideas. This course will provide you with new interventions and a collection of evidence to jump-start small changes in your practice and make you The Well-Equipped OT! You will learn evidence-based tools and techniques in the areas of self-regulation, executive function, fine motor activities, handwriting, visual perception, mental health and more! You will return to work with renewed energy and confidence, as you positively impact the students you work with, the classroom and the whole school community.
